Find Your Inner Child

Those of you who know me, know that I like to have fun, even in fairly serious situations. If (and when) I err, it’s usually in having too much fun in situations that may not warrant it.

Years ago I treated that as a character flaw and tried as hard as possible to become more serious, then I realized it doesn’t really matter. It’s fun to have…fun.

It’s human nature to have fun. We are all children inside. As a marketer, it’s the most important rule to understand. Technologies may change, but from caveman to Nano-wearing guy, we’ve always had the same emotional touchpoints.

We love, fight, eat, cry, and laugh.

The same buttons that need to be pushed to convert the prospect transcend time. One of the most important principles you need to remember is that we are all children inside who just love to have fun.

Btw, girls aren’t the only ones who want to have fun:)
We eat junk food, do card tricks, and buy ourselves toys.

The difference is we have more money (hopefully) to spend later on in life.

As a marketer, just remember to constantly touch the fun button at the center of every single one of your prospects, and maybe, just maybe they will spend some of their disposable income at your business.

Good luck!
