The short of it is…building your online business grows exponentially, like compound interest; hence, I recommend you manually submit your blog to blog directories. Manual submissions are better because they are higher quality and far more trusted by the engines than directories that accept software submissions

Tackle one a week - minimum

You will be stoked when you see the results of your labor, including RSS subscribers.

And, I’m going to get pushy. Can your visitors sign up via RSS or email to receive your posts every time you post? These bloggers walk the talk, are you?

Nice list.

If you combine blog directory backlinks with article submission backlinks (on topics closely related to your blog’s most important keywords),
you will generate heavy long-term traffic from the strong backlink structure.

Would you be more specific about what you mean in with your 197 entries? I understand you have compiled your list of 101 top directories, what do you mean by entries?

By entries I mean there are 197 different blog directories and RSS submission sites entered on the list.

I’m proud to say there are NO DEAD LINKS in the list unless they have become so within the last week, because I try to drop any bad links from the list weekly.

I research to add 10 new directories each week so visitors can build their own strong backlink structure over the long-term.
