Backlinks are Bank. Backlinks are gold. Backlinks are how many value an online business when it’s for sale. A blog with 50,000 backlinks is often valued at 1 million bucks or more. Yes, unique visitors returning to your blog or site each day is also an enormous value. You should see me typing these words at this moment. I’m standing and moving around my desk like I’m a jogger at a red light waiting to re-ignite my trot. Why? because this is the topic I find so remarkable in terms of it’s importance and how many resist the value.

Today, during a meeting with a client, I apologized to her for my being so intense. I think I was yelling in a passionate way like a Pentacostal pastor. Her response was great, “Oh Jerry, not to worry, I just turn the volume down”. Oh Thanks, Vivian!

I’m so proud of her and of you too, for jumping into the deep end of the social media pool. She has just launched her blog/site www.buylowreo.com. Does she have her days when she wants to throw in the towel and say “this is just too much!” Yes, she does. Then she takes her Xanax. Kidding. I remind her, that slow and steady we go creating two back links a day.

You’re in control! Enough of waiting for someone else to reciprocate back links for you. Build your own social network and point links back to your website. Ohhhhhhhhh I said social network and I could hear brain cells freezing. Consider this. A social network can be as simple as you linking one page to another, one blog to another. AH-HA, one blog to another. Lets explore quickly.

Goal. Get two backlinks a day. There are lots of ways to acquire backlinks. One way is with what I call these hot FREE blogs, where you get as many FREE, secondary blogs as you want that can get ranked highly and quickly. Grab your name, your brand before someone else does, even if you’re not ready to start blogging.

When you set up your secondary blogs on wordpress.com and blogger.com [should take no more than 1 minute each to set up] go into your settings tab and use your most important keywords in your blog title and description. Don’t over do it. No more than 60 characaters.

Notice at the end of each post what I do when I create my backlink pointing to my HOT new green blog called Hart of Green. The link name is the same as the title of the blog post I’m linking too. That helps you get more respect and rankings up the Google search stack. Keyword continuity is everything.

My two secondary blogs are generating two back links EACH WEEKDAY to my new primary blog called www.HartofGreen.com, that’s deeply rooted in green. Please stroke my ego and subscribe and I promise you nothing but fun green infotainment:)

RECAP: Set up those FREE blogs for backlink control. When you build relationships with like minded people you can get reciprical links from them later
Grab a portion of your post on your main blog and post it on your secondary blog as a new post
Link the end of your post on your secondary blog post with the same words as your post title on your main blog
